after 2 weeks of rain we were finally able to get our photos in… well worth the wait because our location was in the perfect shape and color! the look and feel of these images are EXACTLY what i hoped they would be, and jenny and kyle were the perfect subjects. seriously, these two are an awesome couple and i cannot wait for the wedding next summer. i have put a slideshow up on easywind’s website, so click here.

ok, hands down one of the coolest weddings we have been a part of. nora and chris were so much fun, the day was perfect, and the night was better. we set up a first look for them under a huge willow tree on the edge of the lake. we had our cameras and angles set and  were ready to catch their giant moment. but as soon as nora caught wind that chris was approaching from the south she turned around, threw her flowers down and took off running! julie and i had to scramble to reset our cameras and get into a new position, but it was well worth it… the moment was awesome. the smiles and laughter were better.

the ceremony was held outdoors in the front yard of the beautiful georgian manor, with flowers EVERYWHERE. it was quite the scene, no thanks to Val at Kirkbrides who gets EVERYTHING done! i have to tell you guys this too… chris is a very talented musician living in brooklyn (with an album out that you all will love), so many years ago when nora told him that she would LOVE the sadies to play at her wedding, chris put it into the back of his mind and never forgot. they played and absolutely ripped it all night… 3 huge sets. was a pleasure to be shooting while they played! just awesome. to top everything off (for me especially), will and beth from one of my favorite bands, okkervil river played the most beautiful tune during the ceremony.

above all that, it came down to nora and chris… their love and friendship was unlike many i have seen. you can tell that they are PERFECT for each other, and i’m not just saying that. they really are. also, talk about calm, cool, and collected… completely down to earth, as well as their family and friends. nora and chris – thank you so much for having us out. it was a total blast! please enjoy their giant slideshow up on our website, found here.

brittney could not have looked any more stunning, and her choice of colors, dresses, and the wedding coordinator (kirkbrides) was perfect! everyone we met that day was so welcoming to julie and myself and the bridal party was tons of fun… they had their first look at key tower under the screaming planes of the cleveland air-show and the rest of the day was a blast. check out their rather large slideshow here.

last summer leeann and dave had me out to there home in DC to shoot their engagement photos and i knew then that their wedding would be tons of fun. these two are a perfect couple! there are very few brides as laid back as leeann was the morning of her wedding. the buckeyes were on the tube in the other room as the girls were getting their hair done, and they were all interested!! nice… the reception was held at the beautiful palace theatre and it went off without a hitch. great day, great people… check out their slideshow here.

my two favorite people in the world! can they get any more gorgeous?

these two are so great… it was such a honor to photograph their wedding, and what a wedding it was. many of you know that i have been friends with val since the 7th grade, and now we work very close in the same field. jimmy is two years ahead of me and was always one of the ‘great’ older guys while in school. and of course, val is the owner of the most sought-after wedding coordination companies this side of the mighty mississippi. about the wedding… val looked amazing, jimmy looked bad-ass, and the decor and colors were something you don’t see too often. she pulled out all the stops and the vendors came through full scale. just take a look at the slideshow. congratulations you two!!!

i was looking forward to shooting this wedding all summer simply because nicole and brian are exactly the type of folks i love working with. just awesome people with great personalities (their friends and family were also amazing!). hopefully we get a chance to hang at the gund this basketball season because all 4 of us have cav’s season tix! anyway, check out the slideshow on our website.

held at cleveland browns stadium! the ‘lake view’ room overlooks lake erie, which provided awesome views of the sunset as they were dancing for the first time as a married couple. noel and dana are such laid-back people, and were a complete pleasure to work with. noel just knows how to look at a camera! dana surprised her with a rendition of “It Had to be You”, which was written and first performed in the 1920’s. there is no way i would have be able to sing my heart out in front of 200 people, but he pulled it off beautifully! wonderful couple, great family, and fun friends made for a perfect saturday. thanks guys and congratulations!! check out the slideshow here …
